DBZ did have a good story (well for a while), it just had a downright shit way of telling it. Even the best story in the world would become a pile of shit with bad presentation. You clearly have no idea about the Halo universe, the depth of its story or its novels. If you did then you would know that The Fall of Reach has been compared to some of the best science fiction ever written like Ender's Game and Ring World.

But of course disagreeing with the opinion of such a knowledgeable person who of course must have read every single novel on earth and is the end all be all critic of good literature is a no no. We all humbly submit to your crappy tastes in story telling oh great alt account.

That's my point exactly. I agree that the halo world is interesting, but the games have a shit way of telling the story and that results in a bad story. You shouldn't have to rely on the novels to make up for the bad storytelling present in the games. I might not have read every novel in the world, but I have read over a thousand. That is enough to identify bad stories.

And thats where you show how little you know about the Halo games. The story is there its just not shoved in your face like other games. Instead of making you sit through 2 hour cut-scenes to explain everything Bungie took the Half-Life route. Heck if you don't read the terminals in Halo 3 you literally miss out on two thirds of the story. That is why you have no idea what your talking about, you never took the time to explore and find the deepest parts of the story.

Again I don't care if you have read a million novels, an opinion is an opinion and a baseless opinion is simply a pile of crap.

You should probably read the above and actually familiarize yourself with the Halo story so you don't make an ass of yourself. Or is it the cool thing now to criticize half finished stories, maybe I should start reviewing games based off trailers

I seems you're still not understanding me. Going to terminals to read up about the backstory is what i mean by simply being given facts. Having the story play out, like Alan Wake for instance, is called good storytelling.
