if this were true, Sony finally starts to make some money off each PS3 sold in July (based on the Q&A. in EU) and people already want a $50 price cut by September? Basically Sony would need to save $68 (WSJ reported loss of $18 per unit plus the price cut) by using this new cheaper graphic card in order to continue making money off each PS3 sold.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
