I prefer the Wiimote with its condom on. It makes holding it more comfortable and the thickness also help.
It is almost guaranteed that you'd hit someone eventually when people are close by. The condom absorb most of the blunt force saving you from bruising.
The lollipop design seems difficult to make a condom for. It won't shine as much if you cover the ball. And probably make the ball more vulnerable to crushing with added thickness.
