To each his own, I find it enjoyable to play older retro games I never had the chance to play (until now of course).  I'm not exactly impressed by any means but it's certainly an enjoyable experience imo.

I got one of the greatest retro buzz ever from Game Room.  It was comparible to Retro Game Challenge on the DS, where it did a decent job bringing back the past and motivating one to play old stuff.  But now, they apparently can't even get this right.  I hope a byproduct is that companies don't expect they can hire companies that are laying off, and expect to get quality results as the outcome.

As far as stability and delivery goes, the Virtual Console delivered in spades over Game Room.  Yes, Game Room generates a better buzz, but the Virtual Console is far more reliable.  It has problems with Neo-Geo stuff, but the rest is good.
