Lame. I mean, with FFVI I can kinda see the point, the game's already goegeous in 2D and I don't think Matrix's DS engine would really do it justice. On the other hand, FFV could translate extremely well, and is probably the FF most in need of a remake imo.
They should do V on DS as a last hurrah, then start with VI on 3DS...
