At that price range I'd say you're more in netbook territory and would probably need closer to $400-500 or more for the cheaper laptops. Perhaps you could get lucky buying used, but it'd probably be an older laptop.

You could also go to the local stores and see what they have. Here's Best Buy's laptop selection starting from the least expensive.
