360 this year cannot be compared to PS3...
First, 360 still enjoys very solid software sales. And more often then not outsells PS3 in multi-platform releases. Second, Microsoft still has a lot of cards to use. They can pull another price drop, slim, and Natal hype. Not to mention Alan Wake, Crackdown, Halo Reach, and Fable III still haven't released.
At this time last year PS3 looked sick. Uncharted 2 was the only ray of hope. And then later Sony used a double-trump card just to get back into the generation. Slim and price drop.
Sure Sony has Move to counter Natal. But, what can Sony do (without losing money) to counter another 360 price drop and the hype that a 360 slim + Natal could generate? Countering Alan Wake and Crackdown 2 with Mod Nation Racers is pathetic (even if MNR is good)... And only GT5 is currently standing to counter Halo Reach and Fable III while 360 owners have been enjoying Forza 3 for 6 months now and will probably get some great DLC to help counter the GT5 release (new tracks).
