Your list of games? Another price cut? These things may help, but the PS3 will nowhere come close to match the sales of the PS2. Even with another price drop the system will still be too expensive for most people and let's not forget that the PS2 was supply constrained during its whole first year on the market, unlike the PS3.

PS2 cost 300$ till May 14, 2002.
By the March 2002 Sony shipped - 28.68 mln.
So only 100$ difference.
WHAT MAKES YOU THINK, THAT SONY WON`T SELL ANOTHER 20 MLN. BY MARCH 2009 ?

Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
