I think they were referring to advertising the PS3 too much as a Blu-Ray player and everything in one multimedia solution. But I don't think that's strange considering Sony is leading the HDTV market in terms of market share in the US, Blu-Ray movies (not only games) are also a good reason to buy a new HDTV.
