XBL Banning forum posts are funny

I was banned for unknown reasons, it could have been : Gamerscore Modding Gamertag modding on modern warfare 2 Offline mods on games such as fallout 3 or scamming and hacking accounts on modern warfare 2 (I regret all of these) I do not expect to be told the reasons for my console ban but I would like to know, if I play my account on a new xbox could that new xbox be banned for things I have done before or am I given "a clean slate" if you know what I mean. The gamertag I am talking about is W3LSHL5G3ND. I just want to know if it is safe to use this account again or I should just create a new profile and start from scratch.
