AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO REALLY ENJOYED RESIDENT EVIL 5?

I enjoyed it a lot. I do like RE5 but main problem is atmosphere.

RE has to take place at night. I played RE2 recently again and I had the right feeling after 40 seconds of playing. No comparison to RE5.

I enjoyed RE5 partially a lot but it just doesnt felt like RE4 or RE2. (If Leon is the main character the game is gona be awesome it seems).


I like also the coop. its ok to make some day scenes this african destroyed nomans lands even had some good atmosphere (but imo not the right one). I would rank RE5 on 3-4 place in the mainline.

Africa should have been sometimes at night and they should have really worked on the shock elements. I like the gameplay mechanics a lot I also like the coop mode but I hope they are going to improve the whole atmosphere in the next real RE. And hopefully they make a real Fullscreen Splitscreen Coop Mode.

Also RE5 could profit from move and the new incoming chapters. Its a good game I would give it a high 80s ranking. And bring back Leon in RE6. For me he is the real RE Star.


From the gameplay itself without taking atmosphere and story in account its the best RE of all time. But I just dont got the right RE feeling this time and thats for me really disappointing. Gameplay is for me just 50% the rest is story, presentation and atmosphere.
