Thanks, I put some thought into my selections.

 

My favorite types of games are Shooters (First or Third person), RPGs, and Platformers.

oh i see, well i know my suggestion will be taken with a grain of salt but here it is =]

 

First person Shooters

Battlefield BC 2 (yep!)

Killzone 2 (my favorite)

Fallout 3 (if you like loooonnnnggg RPG shooters, and VERY depressing ones ... i mean VERYY)

 

Third Person Shooters

MGS4 (its a must have even if you haven't played the others!)

Uncharted series

Army of Two 40th Day (pretty underrated, but beware this is a great dumb fun so if you like storyline and plot skip this)

 

RPGs

Demon's Souls (this is the most awesome PS3 game ever!)

Yakuza 3 (same as above , though kinda an RPG)

White Knight Chronicles (if you like Level 5 and JRPGs you will love this)

Dragon Age Origins

Valkyria Chronicles

Elder Scrolls Oblivion

 

Platformers

LittleBigPlanet (i suggest you get it if you plan on playing it with friends, alone it will get boring)

Ratchet And Clank , you should Skip Tools of destruction (believe me you will get disapointed) , and get Quest for booty and a crack in time (this is one of the best platformers this gen)

 

other suggestions

Assasins Creed 2 (please please pleaseeeeee don't get AC 1 , its crap !)

Infamous (it will shock you on how immersive it is)

BlazBlue  ( one of the the best fighters ever created!)

Heavy Rain (one of the most unique and immersive games this gen)

there are more, but i think thats enough suggestions xD

That sure is a lot to consider. A couple questions

I heard Demon souls was very difficult, what is your view on this?

I was interested in WKC but I noticed it got pretty bad reviews.. what do you think about the reviews it has gotten?

I am only getting 1 controller with the PS3 so I would be playing LBP alone, It's not worth it if I wont be playing with friends? I was going to get it for the amount of content it has.
