Don't forget Asimov's "Foundation" series, they are amazing.

Uhm, really? I mean, I love the Good Doctor as much as the next geek. But the first three novels I like for pure nostalgia, and by the end of the whole robot-empire crossovers and prequels we had a convoluted mess. Again, I love them, I just don't think they're good :)

I wave my hand in the general direction of anything by Greg Egan if you're into hard SF, anyway. Plus the obvious Bradbury and Dick and Sheckley and Clarke for great imagery, satire and haunting intuitions.

Back to thread:

Grim Fandango, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts.

Still playing Planescape: Torment. So far so good.
