If PS3 continues to sell at 400k/week it will reach 8.8M by the end of the year. This is amazing, was expecting a max of 8.5M.
At the same pace (400k/week) the 360 will be at 16.1M by end of 2007 and this means the 360 will grow it's lead to the PS3 by another 600k units. This is not very good IMO, especially with Halo being released and the high price of the PS3 for 10 months out of the year.
PS: End of 2006 numbers: 360 - 7.9M, PS3 - 1.2M, gap 6.7M
