Here's the deal:
I recently bought myself a monitor with a tv tuner, samsung P2770 HD and decided to merge most of my hardware into a small command center. I have of course attached my pc to the monitor, my xbox 360 etc.
I have a 5.1 speaker system but it's old and analog which works very nicely with my pc. When i turn the video source to component for xbox or cable for tv the speakers do not work obviously. My question is how to enable the use of the 5.1 speaker system for the TV and xbox modes.
Like i said, my speakers are analog and i do not have a optical input or output in my pc. Do i have to buy a audio card to make it happen or are there other prerequisites?
