Nintendo saved gaming for me twice. First time was during the N64 gen when I started to grow tired of gaming and Nintendo sent me Super Mario 64 and Zelda OoT to cheer me up.
This gen I again started to grow tired of gaming, I felt like I'd already played everything and some fresh air was needed. Nintendo gave that as well.
Some days ago I thought about my collection of Wii games, the upcoming games and those I still haven't got. To be honest, the Wii is starting to reach Snes status for me, and Snes is my God. I have barely touched WiiWare and I believe once I do that the Wii will overtake the Snes. Blasphemy, I know, but that's how I feel.
Anyway, great thread, and it's nice to see that Nintendo didn't ruin gaming for everyone 
Now I'm off to introduce my Wii to a newly acquired Classic Controller Pro. Man does that controller look and feel beautiful
