I'm telling you, it's because she's a successful non-threating woman candidate. Or as my girlfriend puts it... a "sex traitor". Heh.
People are more likely to forgive stupid then unrelatable.
Hell look at Bush V Kerry.
Most voters thought Bush was a dumbass who was heading us down the wrong path...
However, john kerry was distant... kinda creepy... and bears WAAAAAAAY too close a resemblence to that disembodied head that performs oral sex on a woman in Re-Animator.
