Melbourne Storm salary cap rorting opens up a big can of worms for all football codes.
NRL: Storm found guilty of rorting between 2004 and 2010. Punished severely. Stripped of two premierships 2007 and 2009. Fined $1,700,000. Canterbury Bulldogs found guilty of rorting salary cap in 2002, fined $1,500,000 and docked 37 points.
Possible clubs who rorted NRL salary caps. Roosters in early 2000's- hollow victory 2002 premiership- cheated the competition with excess payments for top players. Brisbane Broncos: 1990's to present. how can they have so many top players and fit them in such a small salary cap? Rorting?
