Turn based is archaic, but it's not fair to make RPG all action orientated as many players just suck at action. Heck sometimes people just don't wan't to play action games. Does it make it archaic yes, because it's hold over that a snobish crowd likes to hold to just for sake of holding on legacy development practices. What we really need is a proper shift of the classic turn based, to a combat system that is action orientated, but not twitch based. I think Dissidia's Command mode is on the right direction, but could use some work.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
