Seriously, when will this elitist mentality end?
The same argument rehashed and replayed... smoke and mirrors seems to be the diet of some who think they can mask that they don't like Nintendo with some argument about how Nintendos business strategy have ruined their experience.
I for one am happy they have gone a different route, and am happy that both Microsoft and Sony are doing relatively well.
Different experiences are what this industry needs, as it leads to growth and evolution.
I game. You game. We game.
