My first FF was FF4, and at the advice of my friends, I later played FF1. It was not a satisfying experience. I just don't feel like it was very fun with its bare bones story. I give it a 4.5/10
FF2 on the other hand, I actually enjoyed, mostly because I like the kind of leveling system in FF2. The story was meh as well, but I still had a lot of fun playing it. I've beaten FF2 3 times now, I'll happily give it a 8.5/10.
