There tends to be a bit more bias on leftwing stuff then rightwing though... in the USA anyway. Stuff like Fox news is more popular then MSNBC because really leftwing people tend to watch extreme right wing shows just to see what they say next and make fun of it.
While republicans are less likely to even want to listen to really bad and stupid leftwing comments.
It's basically the difference between your friends who like to watch bad movies BECAUSE they are so unbelievable bad... and your friends who can't understand why you'd waste 2 hours of your life watching a bad movie, that you know is going to be bad. So more leftwing people are likely to vote in a conservative poll then vice versa.
