Ah, we're getting into the good ones now. Let's make this quick-

FF3: It's kinda hard to point to what I like and what I don't in this one, but it does resonate with me. I guess the best thing about it was the ability to change classes (which was perfected in 5), but parts of the story just felt so cheesy... the rest was unmemorable. But it was a damn fun game, and that's what matters. 7.4/10

FF4: This was the beginning of damn fine RPGing. A wonderful overworld map (and 2 others), a nice challenge, memorable characters with a good story, and songs that bring back a nostalgic feeling. I can't call it perfect, though, the inability to pick your party is a flaw, and while fixed in remakes for the end, they introduce other problems. And there was the difficulty nerfing of the US release called FF2, meaning we've really not gotten this game in it's proper. But piecing in what I know, it deserves to be one of the best games made. 8.8/10

We got the original difficulty for FFIV in the GBA version.... though it was cranked up even higher in the DS version.

IIRC, extra dungeons were added to the GBA version, varying the game slightly, though I guess one could ignore them and still get the original name. However, the DS version did add a new mechanic- the ability to move skills around, and that does not belong in FF4. Though I'd also prefer the game without all those added FMV scenes; yes, I do think they partially were responsible for ruining Chrono Trigger DS.
