It is "almost"safe to assume almost any game has platforming elements anymore. But, it depends on what some people mean when they say Platformers if it fits into their idea of it I suppose. For me this is games like
Sly Cooper
Crash Bandicoot
Mario
Kirby
Megaman
Sonic
and so on
Then again it doesnt really matter if somone likes the game they like the game no matter the genre.
