I don't really see much future for console graphics, they have pretty much peaked this generation.
Even looking at Uncharted 2 so called "the best graphics ever" and comparing it to the first game, it really isn't that much of an improvement, even comparing it to some xbox 360 games and it really isn't that much better. God of War 3, Final Fantasy 13? not much improvement over games from 2007.
I see all these threads saying how huge the difference between this game or that game, but in reality it's marginal at best.
It's going to take the next generation of consoles before you seen any notable leap.
