No, I was wrong. Certain games of the series were published by different companies in other regions though. Codemasters still owns the franchise.

Man, one time I don't doublecheck what I post and then it turns out to be dead wrong. 


Phew... Well, but if the next games turn out like Micro Machines on the DS, it wouldn't matter anyway. The N64 version on the other hand has been absolutely great, but that is ages ago already.
