Well, the thing is, just because you are prescribed to a certain area doesn't mean that you match 100% of your ideologies with people in the same area.
For example, there are a litany of social issues you may hold authoritarian views on, and others you are freer....Someone may feel the exact opposite way on every issue and score the same, simply because the compass does not try to hold one issue above the other (in some situations, AFAIK).
