It was Jerry Falwell blamed 9/11 on gays.  Pat Robertson said the Haiti earthquake was because of a deal they made with the devil.

Pat Robertson and the 700 Club, Jerry Falwell and the Southern Baptist Convention along with Liberty University; these Christian leaders have millions of Christians who follow them.  They aren't a vocal minority that rational Christians would wish them to be.

There are plenty of rational Muslims too, its just that religion allows for people to believe in silly things, and sometimes commit irrational acts of violence.

And nobody ever wishes to speak out against their injustices.

Religion > People's freedom.
