"Best graphics of the generation" not gonna happen without adding "so far". Sure as eggs another game will come along within the generation that will surpass it. That's not to detract from the games visual quality, it's merely pointing out the certain transience of holding the title of "graphics king of the world".
There are already games we know are coming that could overthrow this particular aspiring king.
What's been the average reign of a console graphics king? 6 months or less? If Alan Wake makes it a year as undisputed king it will be a fantastic achievement.
