This aregument has happened before, back when photographic camera's came into the scene, many artist rejected the idea that photo's could be art, because to them it was the machine that took the picture while the 'Artist' just pressed a button...after many years photography was eventually accepted as an art form.

The same thing is happening here, although it's more of an interative art if nothing else, an art that has an entertainment value to it, something that normal art simply doesn't have.
