I didnt prove his post correct, i know Ubisoft is doing it to save money, however, im not gullible enough at my ripe old age of 24 to not understand that regardless of motivations, if a large company does something to benefit the environemt, all that matters is teh action and not the motivation.

That said, i would much rather, as a gamer, see these companies take initiatives that are not only environmentally friendly, but can save some money so they keep making games and keep developers employed. But thats just me.

Niiice, so just because you know why they're doing this, makes it justified to rip the consumer off? and yes that's what they're doing, Offering less a product than they would be for the same price as competitors. Irregardless if you think a manual is worth anything to you, it is to some.

That goes for me and machina too, except we don't want to be fed a load of BS. Not to mention the impact will be so minimal, there are far better ways for them to help the environment within the actual workplace.

Well you bring up a lot of points that will take us off topic, but if you truly believe youre getting ripped off by not receiving a paper manual then i have no words to say. It probably costs roughly 3 cents to make, based on the cost of paper/ink for mass printing.

Secondly, im well aware there are far more important things that can be done company wide. This thread isnt an environmental aware corperation thread monitoring their eco-friendly habits and carbon footbprint, it is simply an announcemnet of a positive thing, thus i commented.

Seece, you have over 5,000 posts, i see them around, i know youre picking a fight because of the red 3 letters under my name, but honestly we have been through too many NPD announcements, stupid Kutagari, Greenberg quotes to not understand how PR works. So please, spare me the argument for arguments sake, go ahead and write your congressman for your extra 3 cents on ubisoft titles and just take it for what it is, its  apositive thing for the environment.
