What the hell, why would they pass down any savings. Most of these companies are struggling quarter to quarter in an industry we all, supposedly, love and youre bitching about a couple of cents in your wallet? Wow, talk about overflow of unnecessary bitterness and misplaced angst for some reason.

Ubisoft are just trying to get more money, but they're covering it up by saying it's for the environment.

Oh give me a break, mod my ass, hes a poster just like us i did nothing out of line, stop trembling based on peoples screen name colors.

I didnt prove his post correct, i know Ubisoft is doing it to save money, however, im not gullible enough at my ripe old age of 24 to not understand that regardless of motivations, if a large company does something to benefit the environemt, all that matters is teh action and not the motivation.

That said, i would much rather, as a gamer, see these companies take initiatives that are not only environmentally friendly, but can save some money so they keep making games and keep developers employed. But thats just me.
