Because you need a brain to listen to it, a normal guy would find it "boring" since they cant apreciatte the complexity and prefer simple tunes with simple beats that are easy to dance.

You sound like one of those TooL fans.

I dont listen to tool, so I dont get what you mean.

It pre concept to tell people are stupid because they don't hear classical. The problem that i see is that peole are just too close-minded about music and other things, they don't want diversity in their music libraries.I don't know in US or EU, but here in Brazil mainly teens tends to be like"i Just like listen heavy metal, my life is heavy metal, i am heavy metal, anything that isn't heavy metal for me is crap and want to pretend it don't exist!" or "I just listen Rap music, my life is rap music, i am rap music anything that isn't rap music is shit to me!".

But in the end the only one who lose with this is who  has this attitud, that private themselves from many awesome things.

Well, I was just saying Classical and complex instrumental music requieres the guy who listens to have a better ear than the ones that just listen to simple beats and melodies, most people dont bother listening to things that have more complexity and cant tell the difference in complexity, thats why I said most of them would consider it boring, its because they lack the ear to understand the different things that go on beyond the simple melody and beat, and consider it boring.

I listen to a lot of different artists, from some classical, punk, old rock, metal, etc..., anyway, so I dont think Im close minded in terms of music, I can tell the difference between crap and good stuff, and maybe even then, I may like the crap, but understand its not the best thing on earth.

It's OK pastro. I'm telling is, many people may really don't like classical, but many don't like because they don't give it a try. Like people already said here, classical is the kind of music you put and concentrate in it, try to pay attention for each part of the sound and open your hear. For Lady GaGa(i lov her) you just put her music and go talk with your friends. If people listen it right, they may like it.
