How important is Final Fantasy XIV?

And sales is only a very small part of whether its a success

It needs to be able to stick around for years. Like FFXI, it wasn't a WoW killer (as actually it came out before but)

if it sells 2 K, but conks out in 2 years. I think it would be consisdered a failure.

I know what it takes, ive been playing XI for years. I am just saying its not going to sell a bunch of the console(s) so people shouldn't get their hopes up thinking this, if still exclusive, is going to push ps3 beyond the limits.

Oh yeah, I agree... It's not a console pusher like GOW3 or, GT5, or Even FFv13
