Since the primary genres get all the love and adoration, I went outside the shooter/RPG realm here.
Viva Pinata 2 - criminally underappreciated by the purchasing public (and Viva one as well - but if you're going to get one, get the 2nd).
Catan on XBLA. Best $10 I ever spent. And I ain't kidding. Other then Halo 3 and maybe Oblivion, I've spent more time playing this game this gen than any other.
Civilization: Revolution. Needs more love on all platforms. Made Civ games fun, accessible and (relatively) quick.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
