We put our dog Hamish to sleep the other week. It was horrible to have to do it, but we were just glad we could be there when he died so that he wasn't alone.

I loved him so much, and it's really not the same without him. When I come up the stairs I still half expect to see him waiting at the top for me with his tail wagging, or when the postman delivers the mail I still brace myself for the inevitable woofing. It's really crushing to realise these little routines are over.

Man.. that really sucks, i'm sorry to hear that.

I'm going to miss coming home and him waiting for me..

 

Leaving in a few minutes to take him to the vet..
