For the past 20 years, I've always spent more time playing games for my old systems than the brand new ones for pretty much the first year after they're out. It's usually about a year, sometimes a year and a half before there are enough quality games out for a new system to draw me completely away from the old. The only exception I can think of is when my roommate at the time got his PS2 at launch. We spent more time playing Tekken Tag Tournament than anything else for about six months.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said but I don't think you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
