What did the PS3 do that the Wii and/or XBox 360 copied?

And what about the 360?  Game Room copying Home?  It isn't quite the same.  It is more like a deluxe version of the Wii's virtual console.

The 360 copied having a drive that can play HD movies. You may not remember because HD-DVD crashed and burned.
