Just one problem with your whole argument. All of the above features were marketted, sold, bought and paid for. That places them squarely under the banner of consumer protection laws. If Sony had removed said features before the PS3 was released then it'd be their product, their chioce. However as the PS3 was released with those features, then under consumer protection laws, what Sony is doing is illegal as Sony are removing features which they advertised, which amounts to misleading conduct.

Furthermore, no T&C or EULA can override a country's laws, meaning that any T&C or EULA which Sony throws at users can be considered valid if said legal agreement contains clauses which breach a nation's laws.

In addition, no contract can be considered as valid if it was agreed to under duress. "Giving someone a choice" of either losing a media pc they paid for or online games access which they paid for the feature of, is a clear cut case of duress just like any other case of blackmail.

In short, it is illegal and yes, it really is that simple.

Your wrong, they didnt advertise PSN to be included in your packge, "other OS" yes but not PSN. If you dont want to remove "otherOS", then they remove PSN from you. They can remove it from anyone anytime they want. They can close their whole PSN server anytime they want actually. The problem with your statement is that your talking as if they are removing "otherOS" from you, which they are not. Now, like I said many times already, its a cheap move and I dont agree with them, but unlawful no.
