And I think Kenoid's point was that the Office suite isn't adding killer new features anymore like Creative Suite is. I don't think I've ever used a feature in Word that wasn't available in version 5.

I disagree. If you only use Word and Excel, it will look the same, however Outlook has the ribbon now and has added some pretty nice email features. Additionally, Access has some sweet new features that allow you to create a program that runs through web browser. Searching in Word is finally awesome. Files from the internet are opened in protected mode to allow you to see if it's safe before you fully open it. And on top of that it is introducing a free online version of office which ties in with the desktop version. 

 

Office XP and 2003 were more cosmetic jobs. 2007 was awesome, 2010 is looking sorta awesome. 

 

On the OP, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it then. Which programs in particular are amazing?
