Actually Sony in the case of Australia has broken several sections of the TPA- section 52, 53c, 68, 70 and 74 by this course of action. This is why PS3 owners here have been legally advised by the ACCC and other legal advisory services to launch criminal proceedings against Sony. It's also why the ACCC has indicated in a form letter to people complaining to them (the type of email which only gets sent out when there are several people complaining) that they are seriously investigating the matter- if you think that's something which happens in the course of a few days then you clearly lack even the most basic understanding of how a case of this scale works, including legal preparations. Nice try, but  but you fail- go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Yes because this situation doesn't also affect users 6-12 months from now when games will start coming out requiring that version of firmware or higher in any way whatsoever. Seriously do you even engage your brain at all before letting your fingers go nuts on the keyboard?

You mean besides the fact that consumer protection laws for the EU are similar enough to those in Australia that someone in the EU has already successfully acquired a partial refund from Amazon?

No actually I accused you of posting without engaging your brain at all. The fact that you think that it is impossible that future games and BRD will require additional firmware especially when 3D games and movies are coming out and require 2 out of phase video streams to be transmitted (meaning that the video functions of the PS3 will need updating) when in fact it will be an inevitability proves my point. Otherwise why would you ask someone to prove what cold be classed as the bleeding obvious.

 

EDIT: However if you're talking about what I said to PS3 fan (and if you are then I've seriously overestimated your intelligence level, and believe me, my opinion of you already wasn't that flattering in the intelligence stakes), then do yourself a favour and familiarise yourself with the English language, including sayings before posting on an English language message boards, or else you'll just make yourself look like a complete idiot.

 

however I have 3 computers are well and they do a much better job at being computers then PS3 does so when it comes to removing other OS to stop piracy my response is " I give a fuck?"
