Young girls like the social mini-games. I have five niece's ages 5-17 (and more that are older, but that's different) and they don't like to play the games alone, they like to play them in groups. They tend to like the games with cooperative gameplay, a little less structured, and not so competitive. All generalizations but I've seen them play games like Animal Crossing and the Pokemons for hours.
On the Wii the Wii Sports is always a big hit. Don't expect them to love SMG so much as to play RRR all day.
