I was just looking at data for Yakuza 3 and Resonance of Fate, both have sold ~90k in the US so far. We're looking at lifetime totals of what, maybe 150?
And I was just wondering if this was worth the cost of localization; i.e. will we see Yakuza 4 here? My bet would be on yes, particularly since neither game had any semblance of a marketing budget to blow money on.
This also segues into an interesting question... Were ToV PS3 finally released in, say, the fall (a guy can dream), how many units would it sell, and would it be worth localization? It wouldn't sell as many units as Yakuza and RoF have, to be sure, but then again they only need to localize half of it.
