1) Yes... in fact it does. If you sign a contract... it is your moral obligation to adhere to it. You've also not mentioned one thing that is unreasonable.
No, it is your legal obligation.
It's unreasonable that Activision refused to give Infinity Ward creative control over their own creation.

Your explanation for why so many valuable IW employees seem to have sided with West and Zampella instead of their wonderful boss Bobby Kotick doesn't make much sense. If West and Zampella had really tried to deny these employees their bonuses they would not have sided with them. That's all there is to it.
