Are the people who are blaming Activision even paying attention to the Lawsuits?

The people who were fired totally deserved it for breaking contract.

It doesn't really matter.  The will of the people is with the guys who made the game, not the guys who put their name on it, made the commercials, and took all the money.  Even if the good guys made a horrible illegal mistake, they're still the good guys here.  Now they're the new rockstars of FPS games, like id, Rare, and Valve before them, and they have one of the greatest development contracts ever, with EA, who will now be the new good guys too.  This is awesome to watch happen, and I don't even like Call of Duty.

That's a bizare setiment... espiecally coming from you.

You're basically argueing that if you are talented you should be able to get away with anything you want.

Nevermind that... the guys who made the commercials and put their name on it were a BIG reason for Modern Warfares success as well.  Without them IW would of never had the money to make such games.

But they're not getting away with it.  They got fired.  And their contract lets Activision keep all the money anyway.  They weren't in a position to demand more money or a better contract then, but they are now, so getting fired is actually great news.  Their new contract is really amazing.  It's like when the first musicians got to own their own songs and keep their own royalties.

And Activision lost the best tagline for their new games: "from the creators of the biggest FPS of all time."  So Activision may have a billion dollars, but I'm starting to think they got the short end of the stick.
