Just to be pedantic I pointed this out ages ago - way before this or Selnor's threads. As I stated at the time (in one of the usual graphics meltdown comparison threads, one of the downsides of MS strategy was that, by relying so much on third party developed titles the platform was seeing far less titles with custom engines than the PS3.

This year does look to see that situation ease, however unless MS push for more titles like Alan Wake it seems inevitable that the PS3 will continue to see more custom engines than the 360 which, assuming good developers, should mean a higher percentage of technically excellent titles.

Alan Wake looks to match what I've seen in GoW so far, and has a good chance of being the best looking 360 title.

Reach does look good, too, but so far from what I've seen the need to support splitscreen coop amongst other things will likely keep it from quite matching the Uncharted, God of War's and Alan Wakes at the top of the console graphics tree.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
