Are Blu-Ray movies still a major selling point for the PS3?

Considering I bought a bluray drive for my PC for 59.99 which can do 3D Blurays using powerDVD10 software... I would say no, it isn't for me.

If I bought PS3 id do it for the games. But im sure there are people out there that buy it for bluray as well.
