I love Bodhesatva's efficient use of logic, facts, and links.

@nintendo_fanboy, Koei was one of my favorite NES-era developers, if only for Nobunaga's Ambition. I don't know how I got addicted to such a boring text-based historical strategy game at such a young age, but it's seriously amazing. Then I noticed all their games were clones, like Genghis Kahn, L'Empereur, and Bandit Kings of Ancient China (possibly the best). They pick a genre and stick to it.

Since gaming went 3-D, they've basically put out 10 versions of Dynasty Warriors per year. Totally boring (I can't stand 3rd person melee beat 'em ups), not my cup of tea, but they always sell amazingly. They'd do great on the Wii if they wanted to. They're just lazy and ornery. I don't know if they're up to anything else these days.
