As pointed by someone else it use face recognition. But I also thought I would point out that it doesnt see your bone structure. Lets say you have broken bone in your arm the cam cannot see it. It extrapolate the skeleton base on the shape it is seeing, so using this to determine sex wouldnt work, unless you play naked lol.

Yes, I saw that someone linked to an article.

I wasn't implying that it was an x-ray device :)  But a basic bone structure can be gleaned.  Arm length, torso size, shoulder width, leg length, hip size, etc.  Unless you are wearing some odd clothing(which will probably f' up Natal anyway), the bone structure generated should be a fairly good representation of your body shape.

Yes surely, its just that it wouldnt be enough to evaluate sex.
