A cap on immigration would be a nightmare, especially if international students were included in this. It could be financial ruin for universities.

But "students" on visas are one of the main immigraton problems. Brown himslef said he expects 40,000 less this year. 40,000!!! in one year.

Oh I agree and 40,000 less in one is shocking but were talking about bogus students there. If genuine students were prevented from coming here because of caps then many universities would be crippled.
